Full Terms & Conditions

1. Services Provided
Pinellas Ice Co provides ice machine cleaning and sanitation services on a recurring basis every
60 days (6x/year) or 90 days (4x/year), as selected by the Customer.
Services do not include any repair work or responsibility for mechanical issues, diagnostics, or part replacement unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Term & Billing

  • This agreement is for a month-to-month term, billed monthly via credit card.
  • Customer authorizes automatic monthly payments.
  • A $25 late fee may be applied to failed or past-due payments after a 5-day grace period.
  • This agreement will automatically renew monthly unless canceled in writing 7 days prior to the renewal date.

3. Service Calls & Additional Fees

  • Same-day service: $200 (excludes Section 4b services)
  • Service calls between scheduled visits: $125 (exlcudes Section 4b services)
  • Missed appointment / no access reschedule fee: $50

4a. Filter Replacement
Water filters are replaced as needed and billed
at cost to the Customer.

4b. Emergency Ice Delivery

In the event of a mechanical equipment failure, the Service Provider agrees to deliver emergency bagged ice to the Customer’s location within two (2) hours of receiving the initial emergency service call. Requests made after 8pm may be fulfilled the following day at earliest time restaurant accepts delivery. The Service Provider will provide up to one hundred twenty (120) pounds of ice per day, at no additional charge, for a maximum of three (3) consecutive days per breakdown incident with a maximum of two incidents per 365 day period. Any additional bags requested by the Customer beyond the daily 120-pounds limit, or any bags required after the 3-day maximum period, will be billed to the Customer at a flat rate of $10.00 per bag.

5. Money-Back Guarantee (Inspection Protection)
Customer is eligible for a refund of the most recent service if:

  • The ice machine is specifically cited in a health inspection report, AND
  • The machine was serviced by Pinellas Ice Co within the previous 30 days, AND
  • Customer provides a copy of the official inspection report, AND
  • The claim is submitted within 72 hours of inspection completion

This guarantee applies only to the serviced ice machine and does not cover violations related to surrounding areas, external cleanliness, or factors outside the machine.While Pinellas Ice Co cannot guarantee the outcome of an inspection, the Service Provider guarantees a refund of the most recent service charge if the machine fails to pass due to cleanliness issues, as outlined in this Section.

6. Customer Responsibilities
Customer agrees to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the ice machine at scheduled times
  • Maintain general cleanliness of surrounding areas
  • Ensure proper operation of the machine between services

Pinellas Ice Co is not responsible for conditions outside the machine, including but not limited to kitchen cleanliness, drainage issues, or misuse.

7. Liability Limitation
Pinellas Ice Co’s total liability under this agreement is limited to the
amount paid by Customer in the previous one (1) month.
Pinellas Ice Co is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. The Service Provider performs sanitization and cleaning to standard industry guidelines, but does not control the daily operations, water supply quality, employee handling, or storage habits of the Customer. Therefore, the Service Provider shall not be held legally or financially liable for any foodborne illnesses, health department fines, or medical claims resulting from the consumption or use of ice produced by the machine, except for the Service Charge Refund outlined in Section 5. The Customer assumes all operational liability for food safety once the scheduled service is complete.

8. Uncontrollable Factors
Pinellas Ice Co is not responsible for issues arising from factors outside its control, including but not limited to:

  • Water quality
  • Equipment malfunction or failure
  • Frequency of use

9. Transferability
This agreement is
fully transferable in the event the Customer’s business is sold.

10. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the
State of Florida.
